Our mission at Canaa Day Care Center provides quality education through hands-on activities that enhance your child’s intellectual, physical, and emotional development in an environment of love and care that enables spiritual growth through prayer and Bible stories. Canaa Day Care Center serves a diverse population in the Ironbound Community in Newark, NJ since 2006.
We believe that all children who come to our center will develop socio-emotional skills that will enable them to excel in the outside world and knowledge to thrive in academia. The health, safety and development of your child is our priority and we will strive to help them excel. We look forward to be a part of your child’s most important years of life.

Our dedicated and qualified staff is committed to appreciate the uniqueness of every child and empower them to make a difference through inclusion and multiculturalism in early care activities. All teachers and assistant are CPR and First Aid Certified.
Practical Activities
CDCC is committed to promote activities that foster intellectual, physical and socia-emocional development in an environment of love and care that allows spiritual growth through prayer and biblical stories.
Family Participation
We value families as partners in the growth and develoment of children in our program. We believe in parental involvement and that home and school need to work together to raise a well-educated child.

Learning Environment
We provide a rich learning environment with curricula that are developmentally appropriate to the specifc ages in each classroom. We have a flexible day routine that allows children to advance ate their own pace. We stronly believe that learing happens through play. Learning and exploring are hands-on and are facilitated throught interest areas.
