Caregivers (directors, teachers, and teacher aids) participate in an orientation class and ongoing training in the areas of child growth and development, healthy and safe environments, developmentally appropriate practices, guidance, family relationships, cultural and individual diversity, and professionalism.

Children are supervised at all times. All caregivers receive scheduled breaks which reduce fatigue and help to ensure alertness.
